what is a good gun???
im 15 and live in connecticut. right now i just have a .177 pellet gun that shoots at 1000fps. but i need something that i can use to hunt small to medium game. stuff like raccoons to as big as deer. what i currently have is only good for birds, squirrels, and maybe a deer if i hid it right in the eye. what is the most powerful thing i can legally own? im pretty sure i can own a firearm even though im not 18. i just need someone over 18 to buy it. does anything change when i turn 16?

Your 15, you can not and do not "Own" anything. What you believe to be your possessions are those items your Parent(s), by their grace alone, allow you to possess. There may be things you will eventually own, that your parent(s) are the custodians of such as family items that have been lawfully willed.
But anything you have been given, can be taken away by a Parent.
Work, earn your own money, Christmas cash from G-Ma...Only by the grace of your Parent(s). They could lawfully take G-Ma's birthday $20.00 and head to a casino!
